    To ensure that your group’s voice is heard at the Vermont Area level, be sure to have someone who regularly attends your meeting – a GR or Alternate – participate in the semi-annual Vermont Area Assemblies. Note: Al-Anon members who are also AA members are not eligible to serve as GR or Alternate GR.

    Representatives of Al-Anon groups from across the Vermont Area gather twice a year to conduct Area-wide business and enjoy workshops and fellowship.

    This year’s Fall Assembly — Saturday, October 17th, 9:00-12:00 — will be held online. To join the meeting:

    1. Log in by clicking here or by calling 929-205-6099. (The Meeting ID is 831 4236 5631.) If you need tech assistance, call Chris at 802-522-3749.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Zoom screen, and click on Chat.
    3. In the Chat window, type in:
      1. your first name
      2. position (Group Rep, Alternate Group Rep, District Rep, Area Coordinator, Visitor, etc.)
      3. your group’s town
      4. “V” if you are a voting representative of that group
      5. If you need help, a Chat monitor will give you instructions via Chat.

    European Al-Anon Convention @ Denmark

    All are welcome to the next English-speaking European Al-Anon Convention, to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, October 30 – November 1. See the flyer (here) for the details!

    We – the Danish Al-Anon fellowships – are working hard to prepare for the Convention and look forward to offering a very warm welcome to you! Please share the flyer with your local meetings, so we can welcome as many members as possible.

    The English-speaking European Convention started in Greece, then traveled to Germany, Belgium, Ireland, the UK and now Denmark, so we are the 6th country to host the event.
