Status of Electronic Alateen Groups

“The journey to support electronic Alateen groups was presented as part of the Electronic Alateen Validation and Implementation Planning (EA VIP) project report to the 2025 WSC. The team shared the timeline and many steps taken to date to create proposed minimum requirements for electronic Alateen groups in the World Service Conference Structure.”
Did you know?
Every year, each Area in the World Service Conference Structure is required to take part in the Annual Alateen Recertification process in order to continue to use the Alateen name. The 2003 Alateen Motion from the Board of Trustees (see the Appendix of the 2022-2025 Al‑Anon/Alateen Service Manual [P-24/27] v4) and the policy for Alateen (beginning on page 93 of the Service Manual v4) explain this.
